Emblemaria piratula, known commonly as the Pirate blenny in Puerto Rico and the United States,[1] is a species of chaenopsid blenny in the genus Emblemaria.[2] It was named by I. Ginsburg and Gordon McGregor Reid in 1942,[3] and can reach a maximum length of 5 centimetres.[2] It is found in coral reefs in the western central Atlantic ocean.[2] It is a commercial aquarium fish.[2]
